Quality System  In 1994 CRC passed the certification of ISO9001: 1994 quality management system, becoming the first railway vehicle manufacturing company in China that had passed this certification. With the efforts of all of our employees, we knew more clearly about all the processes related to quality work, set down quality strategies and goals, compiled quality brochures and procedure manuals, and enriched and perfected a lot of ¡°third plane¡± documents. After successfully implementing the standards set by ISO9001: 1994, we passed the updated certification of ISO9001: 2000 in 2002, raising the quality control of our company to a new level. In October 2005, CRC passed the certification of China¡¯s Quality Association. In more than ten years we have been implementing the standards of ISO9001 quality management system, and have fundamentally improved our credit in the market, which plays a critical part for our exploitation in the domestic and international market.
 In order to improve our technology in welding, in 2003 we passed the DIN6700 certification conducted by the German institute of SLV for the welding quality system for aluminum alloy. In 2004 the company also passed DIN6700 certification for the car body of stainless steel cars, the carbon steel bogie, and the carbon steel car head. This shows that the overall welding quality of CRC has made a great progress and the welding of related parts has reached the advanced level in its field in China, also reached the world level.
The measurement department of our company is the nation¡¯s first class measurement institute. It has won the honor title like ¡°Advanced Measurement Institute in Jilin Province¡±, etc. In April 1996 and July 2001 it has twice passed the certification of ISO10012-1 quality measurement system conducted by the Nation¡¯s Quality supervision, inspection and Quarantine Bureau. It has got the ¡°Certificate for perfecting Measurement and Inspection System¡±, becoming one of the first enterprises in China and the very first in its field in China that have won such an honor.
